Yamaha Generators - The Top Of The Class!Yamaha generators are small, bright blue, and can be relied on for providing light, refrigeration as well as many other countless conveniences to almost any type of location. We have tried them out on quite a few occasions now, and each time these little blue gems have performed brilliantly. We own two Yamaha generators, one my husband keeps for work so it more or less stays in the back of his truck. The other one we keep at home. It never ceases to amaze me how often we find ways to use our Yamaha generators. We had a work party recently and one of the generators was able to provide all the lighting and the power for the music. Because they are so quiet noise is simply not an issue any more. The older models of course were notorious for their noisy and somewhat irritating sound. We have always had Yamaha generators even though there are many great competitors in the market. Because we know them so well, we see no reason to change. Many of our friends have different models and they all seem to be really good too, I honestly don't know that there is really much difference between them all. Our home generator as I like to call it, is an inverter model so consequently we are able to run our computers without any risk of damage. This is one of the reasons that we have gone to the extra expense of purchasing a second generator. When we had the wild storms last winter both generators were used.
When we go camping we always take the smaller of the two Yamaha generators with us as it is just so much easier to carry around. Not only is it small, but it provides all the power that we need to run a small portable fridge freezer as well as our lights. We don't run it continuously just enough to keep the refrigerator at the correct temperature. Because it is so quiet we never get into trouble at camp sites for making excessive noise. In fact many people are surprised to learn that we are even running a generator. This is an area that Yamaha have really excelled at - noise reduction. The other area is the quality of the electrical output which has been a contentious issue with many of the older type generators. Many people inadvertently assumed that if they had power running to their appliances it would be good enough quality to run their computer, TV's and other fancy appliances. They learned the hard way. My husband has a much larger model that is regarded as light industrial. He needs this because not only does it ride around in his truck all day and is subjected to lots of bumps and knocks, but he uses fairly high-tech, power hungry tools during house constructions. Because he is in the industry, he is familiar with other types of generators and so far he has not been able to fault the Yamaha model he has. It is a few years old now and hasn't missed a beat. We are a couple that are sold on Yamaha generators, not just because of the gorgeous color, but because of the service they have provided us. |
